Draw(Top) Your Way to Better Business Meetings

The start-up environment is crazy. It’s hectic, chaotic, messy, but it can also be pretty darn rewarding, too. Now, I don’t know about you, but I’ve sat through some of the world’s most draining meetings and plenty of the world’s driest lectures. In every instance, I’ve left the room trying to understand why each meeting lacked that clearly necessary stimulant. Generally speaking, I found the answer to be the speaker’s manner of presenting the material: one sided, top down.

Embrace Collaboration

How do we fix this problem of perpetual meeting tedium? Collaboration… through DrawTop, of course! To host a successful business meeting in a start-up atmosphere where all of your employees are performing tasks well beyond what their position ‘title’ implies, there needs to be a space for equal and extensive feedback. Make room for your team members/ employees/ coworkers/ etc. to voice their inputs and ideas and you will absolutely come away with a higher level of engagement and better quality feedback. Jot down speaking points, notes, ideas, and questions; draw logo designs, graphs, charts etc. on your DrawTop and share them with your fellow meeting attendees.

We may be biased but DrawTop is great for this type of collaborative set up. Think of your laptop whiteboard as a handy little aid that just wants to help you better illustrate your point. DrawTop might not be able to run the meeting, but it’ll definitely have plenty to say!
